I have one engine that must be powered up to RPM's then you can back it off to our normal crusing RPS's If you run it up to RPS's and stop it there it will start to drop in RPM's all the way down to where it will again kick in the super charger. Lots of black smoke. It has been coming on slowly, getting worse, but getting to the point of VERY annoying. As there are several times you thanks to our great ocean here in Ventura don't want to power up to RPM's.

Plus, I know this isn't right. The other engine is running regularly. I have hours on the engines. What I do know: Belts are new and tight. So if you just go to RPM, the supercharger is not handing off the air compression duty to a fully spooled turbo. Before I got into turbo bearings, I'd first make sure it's clean. If the turbo was gummed up with grease, it could impair it from spooling up to speed.
