Shipping was fast, product arrived in mint condition with a succinct and instructive companion. After set up and fine tune the ecu programmer works as it was suppose to.
It made a beast off of my sluggish truck and I noticed truck averages far better than with factory setting. A bit more spoke when you much on the pedal hard.
Thank you very much for your dutiful support. Fantastic customer service and I have not even spent heaps money in your store. I have told many gear heads about this site and look forward to doing business with you guys in the not too distant future. Reviewed by M. Wrong product was shipped first but they were quite polite and helpful and resolved the problem. Right part arrived fast! Tune chip operates exactly as expected my only question how I could disguise the wiring from trained eyes.
The ecm tune gave far more useable performance relative to factory horses and truck accelerates more aggressively when mashing the throttle hard. Thank you guys for all your help! Reviewed by ivan i. The boat is powerful and responsive up untilat which point the supercharger correctly turns off. At this point, the boat loses power and the revs drop again to around rpm. If you give it enough throttle, the engine starts this cycle automatically: rpm supercharger comes on Revs climb up to rpm. Supercharger turns off Revs drop to rpm Supercharger turns on again Revs climb to And this keeps repeating indefinitely We installed a boost gauge now and tested it again.
The needle climbs up to about 23 psi with the supercharger on at rpm but it drops immediately to about 10 psi when the supercharger turns off. If you give it full throttle, the supercharger turns on and remains on. Revs will climb up to rpm max.
The boat is planed at this point. But if you let go of the throttle just a little bit, the supercharger turns off again and revs drop and the cycle restarts. As a brief history maybe insignificant, maybe not. Last year I serviced it before launching and I had zero problems with it. It was powerful and responsive throughout the rev range and I was very happy with it.
During the winter time I replaced the engine soundproofing as it was all disintegrating into the engine room. I bought high quality Vetus sheets with a layer of lead in between the foam, and later I calculated that I added about kgs with this.Your shopping cart is currently empty.

I have one engine that must be powered up to RPM's then you can back it off to our normal crusing RPS's If you run it up to RPS's and stop it there it will start to drop in RPM's all the way down to where it will again kick in the super charger. Lots of black smoke. It has been coming on slowly, getting worse, but getting to the point of VERY annoying. As there are several times you thanks to our great ocean here in Ventura don't want to power up to RPM's.
Plus, I know this isn't right. The other engine is running regularly. I have hours on the engines. What I do know: Belts are new and tight. Oil in super chargers changed every 75 hrs, and always clean. What I don't know: anything about the turbo chargers, other than what I saw when I changed out the exhast elbows.
Any of you guys have any thoughts? Remove Advertisements. I'm betting that you might have a slightly sticky turbo and it's not spooling up unless you go to RPM and then fall back. So if you just go to RPM, the supercharger is not handing off the air compression duty to a fully spooled turbo. Before I got into turbo bearings, I'd first make sure it's clean. If the turbo was gummed up with grease, it could impair it from spooling up to speed. She broke up with me and wants to get back together
That's the easiest fix, then go to the tougher and more expensive ones. When I replaced the exhaust elbows both turbo's look the same, a fine dusting of black soot on the little fan blades.Volvo Penta KAD32 start
Both blades turned or free spooled when I turned them with my finger, just to see what they did. All I knew to look for was broken blades type of thing, but there wasn't any grease or oil or I just didn't see it I do think I can hear them running when I'm at the house flushing the engine, so maybe it is in the bearing.
Not a loud noise, but when they were brand new they made NO noise what so ever. Sounds like its time to take it in. I had read a post earler about spraying a fine mist of dish soap into the air intake turbo to clean it out, but unsure of exactly how to do it hate to make a bigger mess of things I also have heard that the black smoke means not enough air, it just seems odd as I am using the same air cleaner, I replace it every hours.
Chris Russel says the black smoke is from the "crap" dyed fuel I get from the fuel dock, and if I ran a couple of tanks from the street pumps it would clear up, just hate to spend that much more per gallon for the un-dyed stuff no use paying road tax if I don't have to Guys: thanks for the come-backs, now I will be able to carry on a reasonable conversion with Chris when I ask a bunch of questions.
All I knew to look for was broken blades type of thing, but there wasn't any grease or oil or I just didn't see it You won't find grease build up on the exhaust side of the turbo, or if you did, we'd be talking about much more serious problems. Did both the turbos feel smooth when you turned them by finger? I do think I can hear them running when I'm at the house flushing the engine, so maybe it is in the bearing.
I had read a post earler about spraying a fine mist of dish soap into the air intake turbo to clean it out, but unsure of exactly how to do it hate to make a bigger mess of things With the Volvo turbos at least mine you can remove the cover on the intake side after removing the air cleaner housing. This will expose the entire intake side turbine and you can have at it with a toothbrush and some degreaser. Very simple job. What you should be hearing is a whistle sound as the turbos really start to spool up.
I also have heard that the black smoke means not enough air, it just seems odd as I am using the same air cleaner, I replace it every hours. Chris Russel says the black smoke is from the "crap" dyed fuel I get from the fuel dock, and if I ran a couple of tanks from the street pumps it would clear up, just hate to spend that much more per gallon for the un-dyed stuff no use paying road tax if I don't have to.
It is probably not a function of your air cleaner, though I change mine every hours per the engine manual. It's a function of losing the compression function of the turbo as it falls off when the supercharger passes this job off to the turbo. And what are their differences. Descriptive statistics is the term given to the analysis of data that helps describe, show or summarize data in a meaningful way such that, for example, patterns might emerge from the data.
Descriptive statistics do not, however, allow us to make conclusions beyond the data we have analysed or reach conclusions regarding any hypotheses we might have made. They are simply a way to describe our data. Descriptive statistics are very important because if we simply presented our raw data it would be hard to visulize what the data was showing, especially if there was a lot of it.
Descriptive statistics therefore enables us to present the data in a more meaningful way, which allows simpler interpretation of the data. For example, if we had the results of 100 pieces of students' coursework, we may be interested in the overall performance of those students.
We would also be interested in the distribution or spread of the marks. Descriptive statistics allow us to do this. How to properly describe data through statistics and graphs is an important topic and discussed in other Laerd Statistics guides. Typically, there are two general types of statistic that are used to describe data:When we use descriptive statistics it is useful to summarize our group of data using a combination of tabulated description (i.
We have seen that descriptive statistics provide information about our immediate group of data. For example, we could calculate the mean and standard deviation of the exam marks for the 100 students and this could provide valuable information about this group of 100 students.
Any group of data like this, which includes all the data you are interested in, is called a population. A population can be small or large, as long as it includes all the data you are interested in. For example, if you were only interested in the exam marks of 100 students, the 100 students would represent your population. Descriptive statistics are applied to populations, and the properties of populations, like the mean or standard deviation, are called parameters as they represent the whole population (i.
Often, however, you do not have access to the whole population you are interested in investigating, but only a limited number of data instead. For example, you might be interested in the exam marks of all students in the UK.
It is not feasible to measure all exam marks of all students in the whole of the UK so you have to measure a smaller sample of students (e. Properties of samples, such as the mean or standard deviation, are not called parameters, but statistics. Inferential statistics are techniques that allow us to use these samples to make generalizations about the populations from which the samples were drawn. It is, therefore, important that the sample accurately represents the population.
The process of achieving this is called sampling (sampling strategies are discussed in detail here on our sister site). Inferential statistics arise out of the fact that sampling naturally incurs sampling error and thus a sample is not expected to perfectly represent the population.Outright Betting is all-in compete or not.
